Under the overarching topic of "Master Your Future", the AC presents its event on "Skills in the Labour Market"! In an interactive presentation, Prof. Rolf van der Velden will introduce the key skills which are needed for a well-functioning in the labour market, give insight into his research and offer useful tips for a successful transition from university to work. Prof. Rolf van der Velden is the director of the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at Maastricht University. In his research he focuses on the demand for skills on the 21st century labour market, the effect of (higher) education on labour market outcomes and the relation of skills and the general life course.
