Dustin has performed on several stages across Canada and built a following through grassroots promotion and hard work ethic. In 2009, Dustin released his album, Searching For A River that went on to sell over 2400 copies independently. In addition to this the album was nominated for a 2009 Aboriginal People’s Choice Music Award. Dustin has received placements for his music on shows including the 2010 Olympics through APTN and “Mixed Blessings” on Prairie Dog Film and TV. Dustin is well prepared to continue building his fan base and industry appeal as he prepares to market a new set of professional demos. Dustin has studied with Mid Ocean School of Arts and Media along with the A.C.I Manitoba Art of managing your career program lead by Heather Bishop. Dustin is well poised and ready for success. The new demo recordings will serve as a calling card to help build his profile and strengthen his reach across Canada and beyond(Uk/Europe) Dustin was recently approved for a Level 1 Demo Grant through Factor. Dustin most recently had the single Titled “Hold Me Tight”(I Love You)reach #1 in the National Aboriginal Top 40 Charts. And he currently has the song "Trading off heartache" steadily climbing the same charts. Dustin is looking forward to making new fans and networking within Toronto in January 2015.
