What do ya know its time again to make plans to attend the Channelview High School Reunion On The River. The biggest the best and the only Free Free Free reunion. The response each year is overwhelming the most attended reunion in Channelview history!! There is only a $3 donation at the door for the band to cover their expenses, they play for free!! There is absolutely no charge for the facilities! CHS Alumni and spouses, friends and family welcome. Come and Go as you wish. I know so many people who are excited to do this again. If you're wondering about the venue.....Yes Riverside Inn got high water but not inside. It promises to be a bigger better year for 2016. Chris Terranova and his band are Rockin out the Oldies as well as your favorite Country this year! This year will see some changes for the better. No ashtrays and No Smoking inside. Country and Rock for your listening/dancing pleasure. No unknown unescorted non alumni allowed as well as food menu changes. Try the house made Guacamole, Shrimp, Hamburgers, Onion rings Steak and more with your favorite drinks. All at extremely reasonable prices. Last year there were guys and girls from the years 1957, 1958, 1960s, 1970s 1980s 1990s and all the way up to the graduating class of 2006. There were two guys reunited who hadn't seen each other for 60 years after high school! That was Flippin Awesome!! There were so many there that had never even been to a reunion, and had so much fun........they swore they'd never miss another one. It's cool when you walk in, look around catch a glimpse of someone you think you used to know and then someone else taps you on the shoulder and says "hi remember me?" If you've been missing these reunions then you're missing in some cases your last chance to see and chat with old school buddies and 'that person' you wished you'd talked to in 3rd period!
