A family day of Music - Culture - Dance - Art - Food - Workshops - Kids Activities as we celebrate the Oldest Instrument on the Planet - brought to you by the Oldest Living Culture - 75,000 years young ! www.didgefestival.com A celebration of the oldest wind instrument on the planet - the Fesival is endorsed by the local Wurundjeri people on whose land the Festival is held, and further endorsed by the traditional owners and custodians of the Didgeridoo and Yidaki - the Yolngu people of NE Arnhem Land. The didge is showcased with Indigenous dance, culture, storytelling and song by both Indigenous players and musicians from the wider Australian community and International players.
