She has performed at The Grand Ole Opry, CMA Music Festival, IBMA, Folk Alliance International, The Americana Music Festival, Equiblues Music Festival (France), Avila Beach Music Fest (CA), BayFest (AL) among many others. She has notably written: "A Little Bluer than That" (Alan Jackson); "Don't Waste My Time" (Little Big Town); "Hold Her" (Loretta Lynn); "Love Can't Ever Get Better Than This" (Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White); "O Mexico" and "Second Chance" (Trisha Yearwood) and many others. Since its release in February 2014, Kelley's latest album, "Pennsylvania Coal" (produced by Mark Fain, 7-time Grammy winner) has been met by critical acclaim from critics, fans and radio alike. The album of twelve original songs features exceptional guest vocalists, such as: Trisha Yearwood, Claire Lynch, Daren Vincent, Carl Jackson and her two daughters, Justyna & Sara Jean. Syndicated on-air appearances include Acoustic Café, NPR’s Live at Mountain Stage, CMT, and GAC as well as airplay and "Top 40" placements on Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Americana radio stations worldwide. She has also received "Best Emerging Artist" consideration from IBMA. Irene Kelley will be touring Europe with her band comprised of French and American musicians, including Carlton Moody of The Moody Brothers on guitar and banjo and her daughter, Justyna Kelley, on background vocals.
