This workshop will use classic acting exercises and techniques to help you become a better actor, listener and performer. Learn to react honestly in the moment. Take on new characters honestly and stay in them even when things get crazy on stage. This workshop will also teach you stage fundamentals about blocking, levels, physicality, and projection to help ensure your character is seen and heard and you are aware of the stage picture you are creating. The first half of this workshop will use Meisner, Alexander Technique, and even some of Stanislavski's Method to drill acting and listening skills. The second half of the three hours will focus on using these skills to create stronger scenes and characters. Emma Holder has been improvising in Austin for eight years.
