Margaret Bennett, Calum Martin and Margaret Callan will lead an interactive day where we explore the roots of the tradition in sixteenth century metrical psalm-singing and discuss the influence of folk song and island spirituality in its development. The craft of precenting will be explored and everyone will have the chance to join in with the singing. No Gaelic speaking skills are necessary, and everyone who is curious is welcome!
