The debate will take place on Wednesday 19th of April and will start at 7pm, please consider security checks could take up to 20 minutes if you want to arrive before the debate starts. The event will have the following panellists: - George Kerevan - MP for Eastt Lothian and Chair of APPG on Catalonia. - Hywel Williams - MP for Arfon - Geoff Cowling - Former Consul General in Barcelona for Great Britain - Laura Pous - Catalan News Agency EU Correspondent. - Jason Beattie - Daily Mirror´s Head of Politics. - Michael Strubell - Former Catalan government official and Lecturer in Sociolinguistics. - Montse Daban - Catalan National Assembly International Comission Chair. The event will start with an opening statement of each panellist, followed by a panel debate before moving to Q&As. Debate topics will the need to find a democratic solution to the Calan question, the right to debate on self-determination in the Catalan Parliament and the judiciary case against Catalan democratically elected officials by Spanish justice system.
