HI ASAers! Fest Africa is an annual event coordinated by African Students Organization, and they have asked us to participate in their event this year. ASA will have 5 minutes at the beginning slotted for a traditional dance like dabke, so if any of you have interest in being on an ASA dance team and performing at Fest Africa, please reach out to Ahmed Wael - [email protected]. and I will put you on the dance list. There is also a fashion show, for both men and women. so if you want to strut the runway in your traditional attire, you can! Another opportunity at this event is a comedic pre recorded skit, so if you are interested in using your awesome acting skills and performing the skit, also reach out to me. at 5:00, there will be a pre event in front of the Main mall, where there will be food! So come out and meet other awesome people on campus! There is also an afterparty at 11. Performers will get free access to the afterparty, and all ASA members will get a discount for tickets!
