Pleasure Point Night Fighters request your support for The Halloween Foam Ball Team Surf Competition A fund-raiser to benefit Mike Bredy Saturday October 29th 2016 Mike Bredy, a dedicated community member and Santa Cruz County football legend has recently been diagnosed with a kidney disorder. He is in need of a transplant so he can get back to doing what he does best – making others happy. Mike is a 44-year-old devoted husband and father who’s well Loved by all his friends, family, and co-workers. Mike has spent his entire life giving to this area by being active in football coaching, youth sports endeavors, and running a highly regarded construction company. Now it’s time for us to give something back to him and his family! How Can You Help? 1. Join the PPNF on October 29, 2016 for a Halloween themed day of family fun and surf. The Halloween Foam Ball presented by Pleasure Point Night Fighters is a team surfing competition. There will also be an after-party complete with food, raffle prizes and awards. Everyone is encouraged to join in and form a team. Contestants wanting to compete can sign up at Freeline Surf Shop located at 821 41st Ave. Santa Cruz. 2. DONATE – According to the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), the first-year billed charges for a kidney transplant can be over $200,000.
