International Blues Day started by the NY Blues Society and we are on board having our own celebration. Join us Saturday, August 6th as International Blues sensation Sean Carney and band, ledgendary Delta Blues musician Mr. Downchild and emerging Blues vocalist Kasimira of Blues Meets Girl take the stage for an increadible show of bonifide Blues. Following the lineage of the Blues greats of Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Robert Lockwood Jr., Pine Top Perkins, Robert Johnson, Koko Taylor and Etta James these musicians put their heart and soul into the blues, past and present. All singer/song writers and all with deep roots in the truest blues tradition.
